The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR refines its predecessor’s prowess with targeted enhancements that push the limits of the power and prestige of the 2024 S 1000 RR.
The 2025 BMW S 1000 RR introduces several refinements over the 2024 model, enhancing both aerodynamics and rider experience. While the engine remains unchanged, delivering 205 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 83 lb-ft of torque at 11,000 rpm, the 2025 model features redesigned winglets that increase downforce to a claimed 50.9 pounds at 186 mph, improving high-speed stability on the track and safety on Wilmington, NC roads.
Additionally, the new front fender incorporates brake cooling ducts to enhance braking performance during aggressive riding. The 2025 model also comes with updated software for its electronic aids, such as traction control, wheelie control, and engine braking, offering smoother and more precise adjustments tailored to different riding conditions.
BMW has further improved the chassis with subtle tweaks to the frame and suspension, delivering sharper handling and a more comfortable ride on both the track and the road. While the core design remains consistent, subtle aesthetic updates, including new color options and graphics, give the 2025 S 1000 RR a refreshed look. These upgrades make the 2025 model more refined and performance-focused than its 2024 predecessor.
